How can
I help?

As a parent/guardian you've pretty much had the basic training (eyes in the back of your head, endless patience, strong stomach, sense of humour!), once you are DBS certified (which we sort) you are ready to go.
On the job training is we've found the best way to develop your scouting prowess.
Why the waiting list?

We need non-uniformed regular helpers , as well as Uniformed Leaders. Parent help is vital to help run our sections, we need you - NOW!
We have sections that are having to keep membership numbers down because of lack of help, and we have boys and girls who want to join, we need help - now.
Community Volunteer
We promise it will be a fun and incredibly rewarding experience.

Helping young people aspire to skills, values and community service at this formative time in their lives, they need you - now.
Active Support

Scout Active Support allows people to give their time to Scouting on a flexible basis.

You can still be in volved in Scouting without the full-time commitment of being a leader
